This week's message

"Exposed"
Jude 17-19

“But you must remember, beloved, the predictions of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. They said to you, “In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions.” It is these who cause divisions, worldly people, devoid of the Spirit.”

ADULT STUDIES

This season in our Journey hour, we will combine our classes to study and discuss these very important and fundamental practices to grow in godliness.

What's the Difference?

2010-05-16_whatsthedifference.jpgManhood and Womanhood Defined According to the Bible a ten-week study by Pastor John Piper.

In what ways are men and women essentially the same? In what ways are they essentially different? And how do these differences affect our roles in the home, the church, and society?

John Piper’s ten, 30-minute DVD sessions lead groups in discovering what the Bible teaches about true manhood and womanhood and the impact of living out God’s design.

“Over the years I have come to see from Scripture and from life that manhood and womanhood are the beautiful handiwork of a good and loving God,” encourages John Piper. “He designed our differences, and they are profound.” Yet when rightly understood according to God’s Word, God’s vision for both men and women “is not onerous or oppressive. It does not promote pride or self-exaltation. It conforms to who we are by God’s good design. Therefore it is fulfilling in the deepest sense of that word.”

CHILDREN  STUDIES

Generations of Grace is a biblically based and God-centered curriculum designed for children three years old through the sixth grade. Over a three-year period, this curriculum covers the Old Testament historical books, the life of Christ, and lessons from Acts and Revelation.

Every week, children in each age range learn from the same passage of Scripture in a way that is appropriate for their respective age levels. We call this a "unified curriculum." A unified curriculum enables families to discuss one passage together each week, reinforcing the lesson that children have learned in Sunday School.
